THE Cardinia Diabetes Awareness Group is celebrating after receiving an award at the recent Community Network annual state conference.
The group was honoured for helping to raise the public profile of the fight against diabetes. Compiling and launching a healthy cookbook was just one of the initiatives undertaken by the hardworking volunteers.
