PHOTOGRAPHERS have captured a day in the life of Cardinia Shire.
The challenge was thrown out in an inaugural competition as part of a photographic and digital imaging expo at the Cardinia Cultural Centre in Pakenham last week.
The top 20 entries were highlighted at the expo, with Corinne Nancarrow taking the top prize with her entry First Steps of a cow and newborn calf.
There was plenty of interest in the expo, with residents flocking to the event.
Some were in the market for their first camera, others wanted to learn how to take better photographs, or were just interested in seeing some of the stateofthe art new camera equipment on offer.
Organisers, including Darren Spargo of Pakenham Photo Barn, were thrilled with the success of the event.
The Gazette is proud to present the top 20 pictures from the Day in the Life of Cardinia Shire competition.
