Held in pristine conditions featuring special tests on Saturday and a sprint series on Sunday, riders clocked up more than 200 kilometres battling the rugged conditions around Erica.
Brad Williscroft of NSW is proving unbeatable on the Enduro circuit and numberone plateholder Jehi Willis was not far behind in third position.
Usually riding his KTM250SXF fourstroke, Willis struggled a little with the transition to the twostroke in the Enduro racing on Saturday.
In Expert 1 class Aaron Wade proved he was a standout rider, taking eighth place on Saturday and a stunning finish on Sunday with a win over Rowan Trefz and Anthony Shaw in sprints.
In Expert 2 class Todd Stephenson, Dwayne Lloyd and Phil Arnott were all in contention and jostled for the lead in spectacular fashion, Stephenson winning outright.
Consistent Expert over35 rider Phil Wade will make a big impact in this class with his experience and expertise. Phil finished second in Enduro and third in sprints.
In the Clubman ranks intense racing from the leading riders made for close finishes.
Joel Kent rode a strong and consistent race to take fourth in the C1 Enduro and fifth in sprints. The club also welcomed back road racer Ryan Taylor to the bush.
In C2 class Sean Milner with a second in Enduro and first in sprints making a big impact in this class with times the expert and pro riders would do.
In C3 there was fierce competition with Fraser Duffy riding well finishing seventh in Enduro and 10th in sprints.
Clubman over35 rider Neil Kelly showed his class with a win in Enduro and fifth place in sprints.
The over45 Clubman class had some great results. Wayne Milner was exciting on Sunday but found it hard to get over the logs. He finished third in sprints and third in Enduro, Murray Salton second in Enduro, fourth in sprints and Gary Willis sixth in Enduro and first in sprints.
Junior members rode slick and fast in Sunday’s sprint, Coby Willis cleaning up and winning by 63 seconds over Troy Maynes. Placed fourth after a gutsy finish was Christopher Davey.
Alex Stephenson was placed sixth in J2 class, riding exceptionally well, and was happy with his race.
In J3 class Jesse Milner took third place and in J4 Scott Davey had a spectacular win over Jake Whittley and Sam Burns.
Bryn Kent was placed 10th in the intermediate class.
The Dandenong Motor Cycle Club should be commended for some of the best trails riden in the series, say some of the pro riders. The club put on an excellent and well organised two day event.
