COADY Green, one of Victoria’s most promising young pianists, performed to an enthusiastic audience at Kooweerup Secondary College last Thursday.
Coady, who has been playing piano since he was three and still loves it, was recently given the chance to study with worldrenowned performer and teacher Yvonne LoriodMessiaen.
He was a guest artist at the Operatic Aria performing arts challenge at the Sydney Opera House last month.
Coady said he was thrilled to have been offered the exciting and rare opportunity to study with LoriodMessiaen, widow of the great French composer Olivier Messiaen.
“The fact that she has agreed to teach me is an unusual and extremely unique opportunity, for these days she only rarely accepts students,” he said.
Kooweerup staff and students enjoyed Coady’s performance.
