CORA Lynn’s senior win over Bunyip was a fine result and a great reward for all the hard work put into the club’s preseason. A large crowd and beautiful conditions made it seem like a finals game and both teams played as if it were.
The first half was close, both sides putting pressure on the other, but as the game progressed the Cora Lynn recruits combined to work beautifully with established players and Cora Lynn went on to record a pleasing win.
Best: Ben Collins, Ty Esler, Chad Ingram, Heath Airdrie, Shannon Toner.

RESERVES

In the first quarter both teams made a lot of mistakes but, after a few words from the coach Cora Lynn began to work a lot harder for the ball. As a result their teamwork improved and they were able to come up with a good first win.
Best: Will Van Diemen, Michael Dillon.

UNDER 13

Cora Lynn put up a great effort against a much bigger team and never gave up trying all day.
