BEACONSFIELD Agrade’s Ray Cook, with five wickets, shook the Merinda Park bats on Saturday, helping to dismiss the Cobras for a modest 161.
After winning the toss and sending Merinda Park into bat, Cook led the way with 5/53 off 26 overs.
Troy MacDermott chipped in with 2/14 and Ryan O’Connor continued his good season with one wicket, along with Gus Patti and Jack Benbow.
Beaconsfield padded up and lost openers Jack Benbow and Ray Cook early.
Don Kerslake continued his recent good form to be 17 not out.
