A DRIVER was lucky to escape with her life when her car veered off PakenhamKooweerup Road late on Monday, rolling several times before landing upside down in a ditch.
The unidentified driver was taken to Dandenong Hospital by ambulance where she was treated for minor chest injuries.
Her burgundy Toyota Prado was winched out by emergency workers who were amazed at the woman’s lucky escape.
It is not yet known what caused the accident.
The police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward and contact Senior Constable Peter Henderson on 5941 1033.
