ST Patrick’s Day saw long hitting David Parkinson score a win in Agrade with 41 points on Beaconhills Country Golf Club’s Lakes course on Saturday.
Lex Robertson was the Bgrade winner with 43 points, while Steve Kidd in Cgrade accumulated the most points of the day with 44.
Sean Gray was the winner of the smaller Old course competition with 41 points and Chris Broom was the junior ninehole winner with a nett 33.

This was an Ambrose fours event and the successfully combining group was Jim Wilson, Norris Burch, Roger Blachut and Brian Ludecke.
Neil Andrews was nearest the pin on the first hole and Barry Mollison on the third.
The winning group cleaned up the remaining three prizes Norris Burch took out 11 and 16, while Jim Wilson put his hand up for 18.

Competitions were held on the Lakes course.
Ross O’Garey, with 40 points, was Tuesday’s winner to runnerup on a countback at 36 points, Michael Utting.
Nearestthepin winners were first: Gus De Hoogd, 16th: Ron Ruth while David Moseley won the third, 11th and 18th.
On Thursday, Mick Timmins was the Agrade winner with 41 points, but it was John Drew, playing as a guest of his brother Brendan, who shot the best score of the day with 43 points.
Nearest the pins first: Neil Gardner, third and 18: Bob Corbett, 11th: Trevor Ball and 16th: Rob Bishop.

There will be a playoff for the March monthly medal between Elaine Newman and Lida Patak, who both scored an excellent nett 66 on ladies’ day on Wednesday.
The putting spoon was awarded to Ann Felgate with 26 putts.
Anne Madigan won both a nearest the pin on the third and the Agrade propin.
Lady president Marg Rice won the Bgrade propin.
The ladies are gearing up for their annual charity day next week in aid of the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research.
