BUSINESSES threw their support behind the 4Cs Food Bank over Christmas.
The 4Cs – Cardinia Combined Churches Caring – received terrific help in the buildup to the festive season from the community.
Residents and local businesses all lent their support, with donations received prior to Christmas from the Pakenham Football Social Club Lions Den and the Pakenham ANZ.
Sue Friend of the food bank said community support had been gratefully received.
The 4Cs provides food and other support services for people in need.
Food bank coordinator Jeni Mathieson said Christmas was the charity organisation’s busiest time of year.
