AN undermanned Emerald senior side suffered a 142point demolition by Yarra Junction on Saturday.
Emerald was hit with injuries early in the game, leaving the team with no bench and Yarra Junction took advantage of this, scoring six goals to one in the first quarter.
The second quarter again saw Yarra Junction run away with another six goals, but Emerald did not give up and managed to score three.
Yarra Junction dominated the third and fourth quarters.
Emerald kept attacking the ball, but mounting injuries took their toll.

The first quarter saw Yarra Junction score three goals to Emerald’s one.
The second quarter saw the Junction post four goals to Emerald’s two behinds.
The third quarter was closely contested with both sides scoring one goal, but a taller and more experienced side again dominated the last quarter.
