GET ready kids, the Pakenham Gazette Kids’ Day Out race meeting is fast approaching.
On Sunday, 21 January, children will be the centre of attention at the Pakenham Races with a hoard of free activities organised to keep them entertained.
However for those wanting entertainment of the fourlegged kind, the race meeting won’t disappoint.
Pakenham Racing Club manager Michael Hodge said the Kids’ Day Out was a great chance for families to see some great racing and enjoy fun activities.
“This is a true family day where the entire meeting is aimed at encouraging the local community, particularly families, to enjoy a friendly day of racing at Pakenham,” he said.
The Gazette enclosure will host all Wally Wombat members and their families, and Wally himself will be a special guest on the day and hopes plenty will come to help him celebrate his birthday.
Entertainment on the day will include a dunking machine, a temporary skate park, rock climbing and many other fun activities.
Contact the Pakenham Racing Club on 5941 1207 or see the website www.pakracing.com.au for further information.
