Lastquarter flop for ROC

ROC big man Callum White contests with Lion ruckman Justin Sutherland on the weekend.ROC big man Callum White contests with Lion ruckman Justin Sutherland on the weekend.

DESPITE winning the first three quarters, ROC seniors were overrun by a determined Pakenham that kicked six goals to nil, snatching the game by seven points on Saturday.
Poor kicking in the third, when ROC could only manage one goal from 13 scoring shots, proved to be its undoing.
ROC was the better team for most of the match and had winners all over the ground but, as good sides can do, Pakenham kept chipping away and the continued pressure eventually caused ROC to stumble.
Michael Barker played his best game so far this season and Sean Stanton was again solid in defence.
Scores: Pakenham 12.13.85 d ROC 10.18.78.
Goals – ROC: Michael Barker, Kevin Quinn and Anthony Jones 2, Dean Blake, Callum White, Clint Williams and Mathew Castricum, 1.
Best – ROC: Michael Barker, Sean Stanton, Callum White, Clint Williams and Tyler White.
The Pakenham Hotel Award went to Michael Barker and the Cardinia Hotel Award went to Sean Stanton.
