Latrobe Valley netballers look good

Drouin and Traralgon netballers were rewarded for their efforts with a medallion sponsored by Work Solutions Gippsland.Drouin and Traralgon netballers were rewarded for their efforts with a medallion sponsored by Work Solutions Gippsland.

ON Sunday Latrobe Valley netballers with a disability travelled to Traralgon to play the home team and looked superb in the new uniforms that the club had worked hard to raise funds for.
Each team had only six players but every player tried hard. There was lots of fun and laughter and players, coaches and spectators all had smiles on their faces.
The Latrobe Valley team changed positions each quarter and everyone had a chance at shooting a goal.
Brooke Pellisier was so determined to shoot a goal and had many attempts but when it finally went in the whole crowd went wild. Matthew Fromberg from Traralgon had a great game and never stopped running.
Both teams will meet again in the leadup to the Netball Victoria’s titles held at the State Netball and Hockey Centre in October.
The Latrobe Valley team trains on a Friday night in Drouin and welcomes new players.
All inquiries should go to Janet Parker, phone 5625 3371.
