BEACONSFIELD residents are now able to access library services on their doorstep with the Cardinia Mobile Library to begin visits to Beaconsfield Community Complex.
Cardinia Shire mayor Garry Runge, who is also chairman of the CaseyCardinia Library Corporation, invited residents to browse the collection at the official launch of the new service on Tuesday, 4 October at 10.30am at the awardwinning community complex in O’Neil Road.
“Cardinia Mobile Library will continue to visit Beaconsfield Community Complex every Tuesday between 10.30am and noon,” he said.
“This is a great opportunity for Beaconsfield’s rapidly growing community to access a full selection of adults, children’s and teen books, magazines, CD ROMs, music CDs and DVDs close to home.
“You can reserve an item, renew your loans, and even surf the net,” Cr Runge said.
