Mrs Johnson said she moved to Berwick Views from Phillip Island, but had become concerned about a build-up of rubbish in the lake system.
“We have a beautiful lake here and other people have expressed concern to me because they say the condition of the lake is deteriorating,” she said.
“We need to do something before the lake becomes a rubbish dump.
“We have met lakeside and I believe we have enough interested people to form a group.”
