WHEN I called at Tooradin for the official opening of the Tooradin North State School at Fisherman’s Cottage, I felt the pride and joy of people.
The little school was an important centre for the Tooradin North community and holds a special place in many hearts.
What a wonderful thing to see the school building with all its memories preserved for evermore in a place that is easily accessible and an icon in the district.
The neatly replaced building looked good, but the buzz of excitement and the pleasure many people gained from this Cranbourne Historical Society and City of Casey project was really something special.
