BUNYIP Primary School students rocked hard on Friday with their concert ‘Music through the ages’.
The theme was selected to coincide with the school’s 125th anniversary this year. The concert was held at the Toomuc Indoor Sports Complex in Pakenham and attracted an audience of more than 600 people. Many songs and musical items from past decades were featured. The concert also included the school’s drama group and some Japanese dancing which was organised by the school’s visiting teacher from Japan Satako Ishi. The school choir also performed six items including classic songs such as Blue Moon and Penny Lane. Teachers said the students had a wonderful night showcasing the many skills and talents that they acquire through their participation in the school’s dynamic performing arts program.
