BEACONHILLS College students picked up on the trendy fashion of teenagers’ wristbands to use as a theme for World Vision fund raising.
They then asked Prime Minister John Howard for a little help and he was happy to oblige.
Mr Howard joined in during a visit to the school to encourage students in their commitment to community service.
Clark House, one of the eight house groups at Beaconhills, decided that the trendy wristbands often seen adorning the wrists of teenagers, were an ideal way to fundraise for their chosen charity, World Vision.
The wristbands in the house colour with the words “I am a Clark Kid” are also designed to promote a sense of community spirit among students within the house.
