Despite threatening weather, thousands of people enjoyed a funfilled day in what should become a permanent fixture on the town’s racing calendar.
The fashion was fresh and feisty, the racing was entertaining and Pakenham Racing Club officials were pleased with the positive local response to the firsttime event.
