ROC started strongly and the majority of turnovers went its way, resulting in a sevengoal lead at quartertime. Beaconsfield fought back hard, determined to take the lead and levelling the scores at the end of the third quarter. The final quarter was intense, with both clubs fighting hard, but the strong defence of ROC gained a win by three points.
Scores: ROC 53 v Beaconsfield 50.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz:B GRADE

After a strong start ROC’s attackers led hard to the ball and created many opportunities for the goalers. The team played its game during the first half, however Beaconsfield became stronger as it went on. Despite this, all players worked persistently to keep the game moving. The final quarter was a close contest, all players giving 100 per cent.
Scores: Beaconsfield 50 d ROC 35.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz:C GRADE

In a tough game against Beaconsfield an unsettling first quarter ended with scores close. Rebecca Luxford and Georgia Dawson worked well in defence, taking great intercepts and repelling the ball. Despite ROC’s hard work, Beaconsfield was able to get ahead comfortably by the end of the third quarter. After a few changes the team played out the final quarter strongly and positively.
Scores: Beaconsfield 47 d ROC 27.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz:17 AND UNDER

ROC helding the lead for the first half of the game. Carly Louch and Elise Macreadie goaled beautifully, and moved well in the goal ring. The mid court ran well all game and opened up their attacking end. However, Beaconsfield stood strong in the second quarter and won by four goals. There was great work in defence from Elyse Mason and Emily Hobson and a great team effort from Emily Jagiello and Kate Quinn.
Scores: Beaconsfield 25 d ROC 21.

In an exciting game the result was even. Tylah Ingram played an awesome game with many intercepts. ROC’s teamwork gave the team a lead in the first quarter and every quarter was close, both teams wanting the ball and working nonstop. The team’s determination was outstanding.
Scores: ROC 27 drew with Beaconsfield 27.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz:13 AND UNDER

ROC played a determined Beaconsfield, resulting in a 40point loss. ROC never gave up and kept fighting all game. Emily Marks played a strong game and kept tight on her player, while Kristy Mynott kept focused throughout. In the final quarter the players were in positions they don’t normally play, which demonstrated extreme versatility.
Scores: Beaconsfield 46 d ROC 6.
