ROC Netball Club’s Agrade team took early control of the game against Beaconsfield in round three on Saturday and went on to win by 10 goals.
The team applied immense pressure throughout the game, resulting in Beaconsfield making errors, in which ROC backed up and capitalised on the turnovers.

B GRADE

After a slow start, ROC fought hard to win a close match against Beaconsfield by five goals.
The game saw Beaconsfield taking the lead in each quarter, but ROC took control in the last.
Excellent defensive pressure came from all team members, resulting in many turnovers.
Score: ROC 40 d Beaconsfield 34.

C GRADE

ROC maintained a positive attitude from the beginning, despite a tough game.
Jess Allchin and Helen Conjar combined well in goals, displaying great confidence.
The defence kept tight throughout the game, resulting in ROC seizing many intercepts. The midcourt showed determination throughout the game.
Score: ROC 23 lost to Beaconsfield 50.

17 AND UNDER

A solid start to the game, with all players working hard against a strong Beaconsfield side.
The defence was firm, working the ball to the attack, where the goalers shot well.
The midcourt produced a great effort with Megan Barling receiving the Blockbuster award for great consistency in centre.
Score: ROC 17 lost to Beaconsfield 34.

15 AND UNDER5

ROC played a brilliant game, with all players working hard.
Tylah Ingram played an excellent game in GD and received the ‘Colour Me Happy’ hairdressing award.
Tammy Louch showed accurate goaling and she received the Blockbuster award.
Scores: ROC 20 lost to Beaconsfield 27.

13 AND UNDER

All players displayed brilliant teamwork and perseverance.
The defence worked swiftly, with the midcourt feeding the ball skilfully down to the goalers.
Kristy Mynott and Emily Marks worked hard throughout the game and received the Blockbuster award and the Stunger award respectively.
Score: ROC 10 lost to Beaconsfield 41.
