THE fine art of portrait painting last week brought together school students from Pakenham and around the district.
The Pakenham cluster included the town’s secondary college and primary schools at Officer, Pakenham Hills, Pakenham Consolidated School and Nar Nar Goon.
Cluster educator Tanja Watts said students got together several times a year to work on various areas of interest.
“Last week it was portrait painting, under the guidance of artist in residence Michelle Kennedy,” she said.
“The cluster organises a ‘bright sparks’ activity, and the all-day events include selected students from five schools.”
