At thePAKENHAM secondary students were presented with student scholarships for 2007 at a function in December.
Pakenham Masonic Lodge provides the student scholarships annually to students who show enthusiasm and get involved in their community to assist with their further studies.
Ashley Boath, Allanah Bailey, Krystal Platt and Karl Spanu were presented with certificates at a formal function by Lodge Master Richard Searle and board president Paul Gallon.
Pakenham Secondary College viceprincipal, Emanual Merambeliotis and the students’ parents also attended presentation.
Lodge has been presenting scholarships for several years and its total financial commitment for the 2007 scholarships was $2000.
