TWO pairs have qualified for the final of the Beaconhills Country Golf Club summer cup after shooting four-ball-best-ball par rounds of plus-11
The qualifying rounds were held on Saturday, 12 November.
On the Lakes course Brian Meneilly and Glen James shot plus-11 to win on a countback from runners-up Russell D’Arcy and Greg Meyers.
The Lakes winners Paul Blundell and Brett Stringer also scored plus-11.
There were 16 pairs that qualified with plus-seven, the cut-off mark (on a countback).

SUNDAY RESULTS

On Sunday 13 November, a Stableford competition was played on the Lakes course.
Both B-grade winners scored 40 points – Roy Solomon winning A grade and Stephen Blampied winning B grade.

MIDWEEK RESULTS

These competitions were also Stableford.
Jimmy McEachern successfully claimed Tuesday’s competition with 42 points while on Thursday Peter Versteege won A grade with 39 points and Michael Buck won B grade with 42 points.
Wednesday was ‘ladies day to the committee’ where the ladies showed their appreciation for the committee’s hard work during the year.
Captain Nicki Charman was the ‘committee’ winner with 38 points and Barbara Jackson was the ‘member’ winner with 39 points.
Kim Pitcher won the nearest the pin on the 18th and Bev Eckhardt (A grade) and Gloria Minehan (B grade) won the pro-pins.
