RAIN played havoc with all three junior grade grand finals on Saturday morning with games to be completed this weekend.
@BT Sub Sport Gaz:UNDER 17 NORTH
After day one the game was evenly poised between Emerald Black and the Beaconsfield Bandits.
The Bomber Blacks scored 80 with Ali Semaiha 25 notout while opener Daniel Leversha reached 21.
The best Bandit bowlers were Brent Dames (3/11 from eight overs), Tom Warburton (2/17 from five overs) and Brad Pitcher (2/12 off five overs).
Emerald made a vital breakthrough in the last seven overs of play and the Bandits will try to steal the game when they resume on 1/16 next Saturday.

Tooradin totalled 129 against Merinda Park.
Eight fours were included in Sean Wilson’s excellent innings of 52 notout while his Agrade teammate Sean Baker reached 28.
Andrew Martin claimed the superb figures of 3/7 from eight overs and he was given good support from Michael Theodoris (3/26 from eight overs).

Emerald Blacks amassed an imposing 148 against PUT.
Danny Ceeney, Andy Alenson and Tom Baldock all scored 30s for the Bombers, while James Parnall (4/22 from six overs) and James Somers (3/14 off six overs) were the leading Yabbie wickettakers.

Tooradin scored 114 against Cardinia.
Jay Wilson top scored with 31, while Seagulls’ captain Matt Thompson reached 21. Glen Easton (2/15 off six overs) was the leading Bulls’ bowler.

It is an even contest between Beacy Minors and Upper Beaconsfield Maroons.
The Minors scored 84 with Nathan Madden (19) and Arvind Krishamoorthy (17) batting well, while Lewis Bond and Scott McQuilton both captured two wickets.
@BT Sub Sport Gaz:UNDER 13 SOUTH
Merinda Park produced another powerhouse display against Devon Meadows.
The Cobras totalled a formidable 189 with Jason Pongracic racing to 72 notout from only 49 balls, while Simon Spencer scored 30 from 44 balls.
Dylan Cuthbertson also contributed well, scoring 25 while the best performers in the Panther attack were Chris Benedek (2/38 off seven overs) and Dan Martens (2/42 from seven overs).
