BEACONSFIELD convincingly defeated Emerald Black in the Under17 North grand final by seven wickets.
The Bombers’ average tally of 83 was easily overcome when the powerful Beaconsfield Bandits cruised to 3/85, with Brad Hollick scoring 24, Madison Andrews 23 notout and Peter Sofra 16.
It was a closer encounter in the Under17 South grand final, but Merinda Park prevailed over Tooradin after scoring 7/132.
James LaughlinGlen top scored with 30, while Nathan Beaver, Matt Grayson and Daniel McCalman all scored 20s.
Tooradin opening bowlers Sean Wilson (3/14 off eight overs) and Sean Baker (2/32 from eight overs) both bowled tidily for the Seagulls.

PUT Yabbies was the victor in the Under15 North grand final when it defeated Emerald Black by five wickets after totalling 5/152.
Jackson Fromhold and Jamie Sommer were both undefeated on 30 and 32 respectively, while Liam O’Sullivan (2/14 off three overs) was the Bombers’ leading wickettaker.
@BT Sub Sport Gaz:UNDER15 SOUTH

Cardinia won the Under15 South grand final when it eclipsed Tooradin by four wickets.
Glen Easton ended an outstanding game for the Bulls by top scoring with 31 notout, while Brady Welsh reached 23 and Brad Tanner 19.
Dave Tobin (2/13 from four overs) and Kayle Thomson (2/19 from six overs) were the Seagulls’ leading wickettakers.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz:UNDER13 NORTH

Upper Beaconsfield won an exciting Under13 North grand final by two wickets against Beaconsfield Minors after scoring 8/87.
Matt Buntine top scored with 25 notout, while Taylor Joyce reached an undefeated 21.
The Minors’ best bowlers were Arvind Kristamoorthy (2/9 from five overs) and Nick Bruneau (2/9 off 4.1 overs).

@BT Sub Sport Gaz:UNDER13 SOUTH

Merinda Park cruised to a 73run victory in the Under13 South grand final against Devon Meadows.
The Panthers’ leading batsmen were Chris Benedek (27 not out from 56 balls) and Ben Hussey (25 not out off 51 deliveries) when Devon Meadows totalled 7/116.
However, the Cobras’ excellent bowling and fielding prevailed by the end of the match.
