BLOOMING beauty — these homegrown wildflowers are capturing attention around the globe.
Martin Sayers and other local growers are showcasing their wares at this week’s Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show.
Bunyipbased association Wildflowers Australia is one of hundreds of groups involved in the show.
Wildflowers Australia has created a rustic outdoor garden setting showcasing an extensive range of native flowers.
The display includes rustic furniture, wheelbarrows and a large rustic door as a centerpiece.
Mr Sayers has been preparing for the show for several weeks. Wildflowers Australia assists market research and the development of the gardening industry.
The garden show runs until Sunday, 9 April at the Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton.
The show is a display of the best landscape, floral and garden designs from across Australia.
