International Women’s Day dinner coordinators Jill Crawford (left) and Margaret Sansom.CLOVER Cottage Berwick will host the Inner Wheel Club of Narre Warren’s International Women’s Day (IWD) celebration dinner Tuesday, 21 March.
IWD is held worldwide on 8 March each year, and the dinner will mark IWD, the 70th birthday of the Cancer Council of Victoria, and will raise money for breast cancer research.
Coordinators club past president Margaret Sansom and past secretary Jill Crawford said this would be the club’s ninth IWD dinner.
They expressed thanks to community members and Berwick businesses for their support of the annual function through the donation of raffle prizes.
