ROTARY Club of Berwick members were out in force on Thursday for their annual tidyup working bee at Berwick Cemetery.
Club president Tim Moore said he was pleased with the response and the amount of work done.
He especially thanked working bee coordinator Rotarian Adrian Funston for his work and the club members for their support of the project.
“This is the first year we have been able to work with the cemetery trust managersecretary Trevor Thompson and this developed a closer link with those who manage the cemetery,” he said.
Mr Moore said he was particularly pleased the cemetery gates had been repaired and rehung.
Mr Thompson said Rotarian Eric Boon had repaired the gates at his welding workshop in Officer.
“They will be powder coated once they have been refitted,” he said.
