Hawks to bare silverware

THE Hawks will be showing off their silverware when they swoop on Pakenham this month.
The Hawthorn Football Club will train at Toomuc Reserve on 20 January and will bring their 2008 premiership cup.
Cardinia Shire mayor Bill Pearson has invited residents to come over and see the AFL stars in action.
“A huge crowd flocked to see the Hawthorn players when they visited Pakenham last year,” he said.
“With the Hawks looking to repeat their grand final success, their visit this year is expected to be even bigger.”
The players will begin training at 8.30am, conduct a free coaching clinic at 10.30am and an autograph signing session from 11.10am to 11.30am.
For a gold coin donation, fans will be able to have their photo taken with the premiership cup.
The proceeds go to the Hawk Museum.
Club mascot Hawka will be on hand to meet youngsters and there will also be a barbecue, face painting and other activities.
