THE family of 11-year-old Taylah Quinn, who was killed in a collision on McGregor Road, Pakenham, last week, have said they want their daughter and sister remembered as a beautiful, vibrant young lady and not for the manner in which she died.
In a statement to the Gazette yesterday (Tuesday), the Quinn family said they were still deeply shocked after the accident and that words could not express their pain and sorrow.
Taylah died on Tuesday 13 January when the car she and her family were travelling in was involved in a collision with a truck.
The family said Taylah, a competitive girl who enjoyed swimming, running and basketball, was a vibrant young lady who was just beginning to blossom.
“She loved school and was looking forward to being in the same grade six class as her twin brother, Aaron, this year,” the family said. “Taylah enjoyed creating. She liked to draw and make jewellery for family and friends, creating gardens, growing flowers and vegetables, raising animals and even cooking in the kitchen.
