New careers in beauty therapy

CASEY College started beauty therapy courses at a salon supplier’s premises in February last year.
After three months of operation and increasing interest in the courses, it began to grow.
In August, Casey College of Beauty Therapy (CCBT) opened a facility at Cranbourne and within three months, course places were again filling rapidly.
At the start of this year, CCBT opened its second facility in John Street, Pakenham, and this has also had a very positive response.
A spokesperson said CCBT offered PAYG (Pay As You Go) payment plans that allowed students to pay off their qualification debt without having to pay the full amount up front.
Casey College is a registered training organisation and runs the following day and evening courses:
• Certificate III in Beauty Therapy.
• Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy.
• Certificate III in Nail Technology.
• Certificate in Spa Therapies.
• Certificate in Massage Therapy as well as short courses.
The spokesperson said all teachers at the college held national and overseas qualifications and provided excellence in training.
“Beauty supplies and equipment at wholesale prices are available for students and trade people,” she said.
“Students can choose to come part-time and build up to a certificate or diploma, or full-time – it is totally flexible.”
For all course inquiries phone 9702 6464.
