BRUMBY’S Lakeside and Heritage Springs bakeries, in conjunction with The Pakenham Gazette, had a great response to their free loaf of bread promotion.
The Lakeside store gave away 90 loaves of bread on just the first day, on presentation of the voucher found in last week’s Gazette. This was 40 more than the previous year.
“We are stoked with how well it’s done this time,” said Lakeside store manager Jayde Barrister.
The promotion, which ran from Wednesday 4 to Tuesday 10 February, was the idea of store owner Marlene Jones.
“We wanted to give something back to our customers; it’s to say thankyou to them,” Ms Barrister said.
