Support goes both ways

SHOW president, Gordon Cumming said the committee was grateful to patrons and especially sponsors and volunteers.
“Without these groups, the Berwick Show would not be celebrating its 161st show,” he said.
“However in turn, the show supports many community organisations and volunteer members receive funding for their groups for helping in a multitude of jobs.”
Mr Cumming said he would like to thank these groups and was pleased that the show could assist them.
Community Groups that make up the large show team are: Narre Warren North Uniting Church and Community Carols Committee, Harkaway Primary School, Narre Warren North Primary School, Berwick Ladies Lions Club.
Mr Cumming said this work involved about 100 people and 350 hours work.
