SCHOOLS across the shire continue to name their leaders for 2009.
Chairo Christian College and Upper Beaconsfield, Cockatoo and Pakenham Consolidated primary schools recently announced their school captains.
Gembrook MP Tammy Lobato visited Upper Beaconsfield Primary School last week to present badges to its school captains Monica Bilton and Brendan Cooper as well as other student leaders.
Cockatoo Primary School Council president Rebecca Mortimer and Parents and Friends Association president Darlene Elder recently presented badges to school captains Jessica Mitchell and Kody Hawkins.
At Pakenham Consolidated School, Emma Patrick and Harry Webber were named school captains, and Todd Beck and Jessica Dunne as vice-captains.
Esther Battersby and Daniel Mitchell are school captains at Chairo Christian School, while April Stock and Lachlan Hammond are their deputies.
