Cardinia United raring to go

CARDINIA United Cougars Junior Soccer Club received a large dose of A-League finals action at Telstra Dome last month.
Twelve of the club’s rising stars served as ball squad members in A-League premier Melbourne Victory’s 4-0 second leg semi-final triumph over Adelaide United in front of a 35,000-strong crowd.
The same teams clashed at Telstra Dome on Saturday night, with Victory outlasting Adelaide United 1-0.
Cody Thomas, Rebecca Blockley-Jackson, James Hayden, Travis Fitton, Lauren Lucas, Emily Higginbotham, Matthew Vigilanti, Nick Todorovic, Daniel Ferro, Kyle Mair, Jacob Raftopoulos and Mark Jenner (all pictured above) were the lucky Cougars.
Cardinia United trains on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm to 7pm at the new Lakeside Primary School Reserve.
The Football Federation Victoria season kicks off on 26 April and the Cougars are expecting to field two teams. New members are welcome.
