CHILDREN who are cheerful, confident, and have engaging personalities can enter the junior show personality event, and that means all children can enter.
The show personality event is a tradition that attracts much interest.
Judging is mainly on personality. There is an emphasis on the entrant’s ability to hold a conversation. Other considerations are presentation and grooming.
This year the competition is being sponsored by Priceline Pharmacy, Pakenham.
Winners of each section will receive hampers full of priceline goodies.
The judges, Priceline’s cosmetic artist Leanne Duiker and Star News Group journalists Kelly Yates and Bridget Brady, will ask entrants some questions to see how they respond.
The categories are divided into ages four to six years, seven to nine years, 10 to 13 years, and 14 to 16 years.
Boys and girl are welcome to participate.
Judging will commence on 21 March at 11am.
Entries can be lodged from 9.30am until 10.30am in front of the Grandstand on show day only.
