MORE than 55,000 people attended Farm World at Lardner Park in Warragul last weekend, lifting the crowd this year by seven per cent.
Demand for products and services remained high in the 47th year of Farm World.
This included strong demand for farm machinery including tractors, partly influenced by the 30 per cent investment allowance available on equipment purchases.
Demand for yards, crushes, and tanks was also strong, though lower than in previous years.
Demand for delivery service for items such as tools and plants to the car park collection point was significantly higher than it was last year, chief executive officer of Lardner Park events, Mark Cockerell, said.
The Mobil award for the best farm machinery and best automotive stand went to Honda.
The Commonwealth Bank best agricultural stand award went to Basix Trace Packs and Total Agronomy.
The Baw Baw Shire Council award for best general interest stand went to Jana Living.
