Goal for gold

OLYMPIC gold medallist Brooke Hanson will be guest speaker at the Cardinia Business Award’s gala dinner.
Hanson will talk about goal setting, perseverance and planning to win at the presentation on Friday 8 May.
Cardinia Shire mayor Bill Pearson encouraged local business people to attend the dinner and make it a night out with co-workers and colleagues.
“This is Cardinia’s premier business event and we are privileged to have such a great guest speaker lined up for this year’s awards night,” he said.
The Cardinia Business Awards recognises business excellence and the contribution of local businesses to the Cardinia Shire economy,
Cardinia Business awards are presented on the night.
Category award winners are announced leading up to the presentation of the Cardinia Business of the Year 2009 award.
“I encourage all business people to come along and celebrate another great milestone for the local business community,” Cr Pearson said.
Guests at the business awards will enjoy pre-dinner drinks, wine tasting and music as well as a three-course meal featuring the best local produce.
Tickets to the dinner, which starts at 6.30pm, are $70.
