$5000 to Cardinia Foundation

THE Cardinia Foundation is $5000 closer to its goal of raising $250,000 this year, thanks to the Pakenham Racing Club.
Cardinia Club operations manager Brad Ford last week handed over a $5000 cheque, on behalf of the club, to Cardinia Foundation chief executive Di Padgett.
The foundation will use the money to support eligible community groups in their work.
The foundation has so far handed out $174,250 in grants and is continuing to grow and gain community and corporate support.
It recently launched a new website, which can be found at www.cardiniafoundation.com.au
Mrs Padgett is available to speak to community groups about the foundation and can be contacted on 5940 2254 or at 98 Main Street, Pakenham.
