EMERALD’S special PAVE event was a rocking success, with more than 250 young people turning out.
The outdoor youth event, Shake down with PAVE, featured Lachlan Ranford and Glen George, Jeeves and I, For Our Hero, A Fate Worse than Death and Summer of Betrayal.
It was the first time the PAVE and FReeZA Committee’s came together to hold such an event.
Cardinia Shire Youth Services Officer Carrolyn Agius said families and young people enjoyed the activities and live performances at the event, held last fortnight at the Emerald Primary School oval.
“The event had a great atmosphere and the live acts were well received,” she said.
Young people also enjoyed free activities including midi slide, bouncing boxing and giant jumping castles.
The next FReeZA gig, Mud Crab May Day, will be held at the Pakenham Hall on Friday 15 May.
