CARDINIA residents are being urged to count their steps as part of a pedometer program.
A recent walk from Kooweerup’s Mobile Library officially launched the project, which encourages locals to take 10,000 steps each day.
This is equivalent to a 30-minute walk, in addition to daily routine activities.
Residents can borrow pedometer kits from the Cardinia Library.
