@BT Sub Sport Gaz:STRENGTHS

Narre Warren: The Magpies have pace to burn and a catch-us-if-you-can attitude that goes with young developing sides. There is no tactic to counter that.

Pakenham: The addition of Glen Wouters and Jake Matthews to the Lions forward line has enabled coach Jock Holland to stretch opposition defences to the max.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz:QUESTION MARKS

Narre Warren: Who will Magpie coach Matt Shinners use to counter the potential dominance of Lion Jeremy Everett in the ruck? Maybe himself?!

Pakenham: Fox Road has never been a happy hunting ground for the Lions. Can they forget this and put together four quarters of high-pressure football at an unfriendly venue?

@BT Sub Sport Gaz:X-FACTORS

Narre Warren: Does anyone know anything about a teenager by the name of Justin Marriott? Well strap yourself in because unless last week’s form was a fluke, the youngster is about to burst on to the scene big time.

Pakenham: If Daniel Fry intends to use last week’s form as his standard, every key defender in the Casey Cardinia League will be suddenly getting tight in the hamstrings before playing the Lions.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz:VERDICT

Tipping against Narre Warren at Fox Road in the past three seasons was stupidity at its purest, however this is a new year and Pakenham is a gun side.
Even if the young Magpies play to their absolute best, the cards still look to be falling the Lions way.
Four to five goals looks a safe margin.
