ST PATRICK’S Primary School students are walking, riding and scooting as part of an Active Wednesdays program.
The number of children taking part of the program, which happens twice each term, has been steadily increasing, as is their knowledge of the area and road safety schools.
The active students are given a ticket to register with their name and class when they arrive to school.
They also each receive a fresh apple to recharge them for another day of learning.
The class with the most participants receives a trophy and each child participating is given a certificate.
