Busy time for Berwickseniors

THE Berwick Senior Citizens enjoyed an hour of fellowship on Friday and president Lorna Bird welcomed all present.
Birthday greetings were sung to Joe Finnerty and Isabel Jaeger-Glover.
A special welcome was given to Gwen Metz who returned and Paul Estathal was enrolled a new member.
The sick members announced were Berrill Elston, Gwen Davidson and Audrey Appleyard.
Sheila Carter and Stan Clayton won the door prizes while the raffle winners were Wilma James and Monica Miller.
Elsie Smith won the meat tray and the voucher went to Ron Giles.
The club then had its regular sessions of Bingo and the winners were Lorna Bird, Bessie Gould, Mary Sparks, Ron Giles, Nora Todd, Jack Smith, Win Robinson and Sheila Carter.
