CARDINIA United Cougars Junior Soccer Club’s under-14 side went down 4-0 to East Bentleigh at Bailey Reserve on the weekend.
The first half was an even match with both sides having good control of the ball.
Cardinia had a couple of shots at goal, but Bentleigh went into the half-time break with the only goal.
The second half was even again, but Bentleigh scored off two corners with Cardinia unable to find the back of the net in scoring opportunities.
Bentleigh scored again to come out on top.
Shaun Griffin was the Cougars’ best player on the day.
