PAKENHAM Football Club has welcomed the acquisition of a new naming rights partner, with property developer Devine Communities signing on for at least the next two years.
Lions’ president Brian Jagoe gave the Devine folk a tour of the impressive Toomuc Reserve facilities recently, hailing the sponsorship as a major coup for the club.
The Devine logo may look familiar against the maroon, blue and yellow jumper, because the Devine Homes arm has been a long-term partner of the AFL’s Brisbane Lions. Brisbane triple-premiership coach Leigh Matthews is also the face of Devine Homes and state sales manager Gerard Kennan is keen to get ‘Lethal’ out to Pakenham in the near future.
Kennan said the family friendly club was a ‘perfect match’ for the developer and an opportunity to strengthen Devine’s growing presence in the region.
He expects the partnership to extend well beyond the initial two-year term.
