Locals win big at FoodWorks

BUNYIP local Vonnie Lee has won the $10,000 major prize in the national FoodWorks “Clear Your Debts” promotion.
Mrs Lee was thrilled to hear of the win from FoodWorks Bunyip store manager Matt Synan.
Mrs Lee said the win would help to stretch her shopping dollar a little further in the current economic climate.
“FoodWorks Bunyip is a lovely store,” she said.
“Matt and his staff are always happy to help carry your parcels to the car and we’re blessed to have a great store that is also a meeting place for the local community.”
FoodWorks Bunyip also had a winner of one of the $1000 grocery voucher runner-up prizes.
Local resident and mother of four Ruth O’Donoghue said the $1000 worth of groceries would come in handy.
Mr Synan said he was thrilled with the wins for his customers.
“It’s always nice to have a local customer win a prize, but to have two local winners and have one of them win the major prize is amazing and exciting for all of us,” he said. FoodWorks Bunyip is at 2-6 Main Street, Bunyip.
The store is open from 7.30am to 8pm Monday to Friday and from 8am to 8pm Saturday and Sunday. For details about FoodWorks, visit the www.foodworks.com.au website.
