LOCALS are invited to put on their dancing shoes for a formal ball at the Pakenham Hall.
The yearly event, run by the Rotary Club of Pakenham, is held so dancers can dress to the hilt in their finest. The ball will be held on Saturday 4 July at the hall on John Street from 8pm to 12.30am.
Prizes during the evening include best dressed lady, gent and couple.
The dance will feature the Chordettes Band and Silhouettes.
Sherries will be served at 7.15pm with cheese and fruit.
Tea and coffee is supplied and patrons are encouraged to bring their own supper and glass.
Cost is $20 per head.
All profits will go to the Royal Flying Doctor service Victorian Division.
