BULLYING, loneliness and Fox FM drive duo Hamish and Andy are among the topics covered in books written and illustrated by students at St John the Baptist Primary School.
Grade 5 and 6 students launched their creations last Thursday, showing them off to members of their families during a special presentation.
The picture storybooks gave the students the chance to express themselves.
“We talked about as an author ‘what’s the message you want to send out to people’,” library technician Bernadette Hance said.
“Lots of values have come through the book and the stories.”
She said many of the books explored issues of bullying, loneliness and morality.
